Hey there! I'm Taihea (pronounced Ty-hee-uh). I am a designer, illustrator, and art director. But if you've already made your way through my site, I'm sure that you've figured that out by now.

Originally growing up with dreams of being a pediatrician, my life took an interesting turn during my senior year of high school.  Even though I was a math and science wiz, I always loved drawing. My love grew even deeper when I learned how to turn my drawings into living pieces of art in my digital media class. At the time, I never imagined that my creativity could turn into such a rewarding career. Teachers and peers described my art  as "fun", and often said that it evoked "joy, encouragement, and inspiration". The desire to make others feel good through my work is what motivated me to pursue graphic design as a career.

A little over a decade later, I'm doing just that. I've had the pleasure of designing for automotive clients, banking companies, universities, and a number of small business in various fields. I've even had the opportunity to run my own freelance company for a few years. Currently, I work in Michigan as an art director for Huge Inc.
